On April 20 from Tokyo to Washington over 4 thousand international sommelier taste the great wines of Montefalco.
On April 20 come back "Sagrantino Day International", the most comprehensive tasting, organized by the Consorzio di Tutela Vini Montefalco, Associazione Italiana Sommelier and Worldwide Sommelier Association.
In a single day, from Washington to Tokyo, the autochthon Montefalco wine tasting will be simultaneously in 43 cities of over 4 thousand international sommelier.

The aim of the event, which has been growing from year to year, is to present the Montefalco Sagrantino and Montefalco red, DOCG and DOC, to qualified audiences, internal channels catering to wine bars and hotels. At the end of the tasting sommelier will respond to a questionnaire on the organoleptic perception of wine, providing data and assessments that the Consortium will develop in collaboration with the University of Florence.
The locations affected by the tasting are 43. Of these, 14 are abroad (Tokyo, Osaka, London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg, New York, Washington, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Kassel, Darmstadt.
